THE PARALYSIS OF THE ANALYSIS

Dear Brother N. Archer and Recipients of “An Analysis of Lenox Sam Time Line Chart,”

Peace be unto all of you my dearly beloved, I pray that this letter finds you in good health and wrapped in the love of Jesus and enjoying His precious Shepherd’s Rod Message.

Here is Heaven’s Truth of your “An Analysis of Lenox Sam Time Line Chart,” herein after referred to as “Analysis”. You will find the Truth herein very enlightening, interesting, and as a two edged sword, cutting to the very source of the uninspired understanding found in the “Analysis.”

First let me ask for your forgiveness for taking the liberty to respond to the request made to the students of “Lenox Sam,” and also for taking the liberty to believe that you are referring to me, Lennox Sam, as shown in the Presentation in which the timeline chart is a part. My dear Brother Archer, you should have consulted Brother Commonsense, and he would’ve told you that it is best to get your answers directly from the teacher and not from the students, of whom you ought to become one of or one with.

Like most anti-Truth rhetoric, the “Analysis” plainly shows that the analyst is dealing only with half-truths; which means that he is not presenting all of the references pertaining to any given subject, instead, he is presenting in some instances partial references and in other instances only references which appear to be supporting the erroneous teachings set forth therein; while deliberately omitting other references on the same subject which would render the understanding in the “Analysis” errant.  Let not your hearts be troubled my dearly beloved, I have set forth herein the references which the “Analysis” deliberately omitted or partially quoted.

A typical example of the half-truths and omissions aforementioned, could be seen in the experience our Lord and Saviour had with the master deceiver when he assayed to cause the Son of God to doubt and tempt His Father. Let us first read the scriptures which the enemy partially used and those deliberately omitted:

Exodus 7:7: “And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among us, or not?

Deuteronomy 6:16: “Ye shall not tempt the LORD your God, as ye tempted [him] in Massah.

Psalm 91:10: “There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.” Psalm 91:11: “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Psalm 91:12: “They shall bear thee up in [their] hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Let us now hear how the devil half-quoted and intentionally omitted passages pertaining to the subject at hand, in his sophistry to cause the Present Truth, Jesus Christ, to doubt and tempt His Father:

Matthew 4:5: “Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

Matthew 4:6: “And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in [their] hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Matthew 4:7: “Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

In this scene the enemy began with trying to place doubt in the Lord’s mind as to His Sonship to the Father and tried to cause Him to tempt His Father, by misquoting that which is written and omitting the supporting scriptures; the same sophistry that is seen throughout the “Analysis”. Let us now expose the enemy of Truth:

The “Analysis” says on page 1:

  • “Teaching Only That Which is Published”

The “Analysis” begins commendably with “Teach Only That Which is Published” and quoted supporting references, then on the second page it quotes Volume 11, Symbolic Code No. 2; a Symbolic Code that was not published by Brother V. T. Houteff, antitypical Elijah.  Which leads to the question: Who is authorized to publish that which is taught in the Shepherd’s Rod Message? Is it the prophet? The various Executive Councils? The widow of the prophet? Ministers of the various Executive Councils? My answer is: the prophet, Brother V. T. Houteff, antitypical Elijah, the last prophet to the Ninth-hour Church. The Scriptural evidence for my answer is found in:

Isaiah 52:7: “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!” and Nahum 1:15: “Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.”

The Golden Bowl also furnishes us with another evidence:

5SC1-5: 3.1.1:  “Let all Present Truth believers carefully study the fourth chapter of Zechariah, and take particular notice of the method there illustrated, which God employs to reveal truth to His people.  The diligent Bible student will there see that the candlestick represents the church membership (Rev. 1:20); that the tubes from the golden bowl (the writings of the Spirit of Prophecy) to the candlestick, represent the ministry (“Testimonies to Ministers,” p. 188); that the olive trees are symbolical of the Old and New Testament Scriptures (“The Great Controversy,” p. 267); and that the two golden pipes, which carry the golden oil from the trees to the bowl, are the only two mediums which God has employed since 1844 A.D. to interpret the Scriptures.

Anyone adding to the Golden Bowl must have written verifiable permission by the medium to whom he or she claims wrote, preached or taught, that which is being added. Sister Ellen G. White, two years before her demised, appointed five trusted men of her choosing, to be the Trustees of her unpublished manuscripts and gave them permission to publish, compile and/or translate as the church has need of them. The evidence for this is found in her Last Will and Testament, included in the E. G. White CD.

The widow of the late Brother V. T. Houteff and her Executive Council, furnished no evidence that Brother V. T. Houteff gave permission to anyone to add a single word to the Shepherd’s Rod Publications, much more entire sermons purporting to have been delivered by him.  In addition, the publishers of these sermons, stated in the aforementioned Code on page 3 that:

11SC2.3: “From time to time, as the Lord directs, it will be the privilege of The Symbolic Code to publish certain sermons delivered by the late Brother V.T. Houteff through the years before the Timely Greetings series was started.  These sermons will be judiciously selected on the basis of their current application to our present needs, from the most complete collection of existing notes on his addresses since 1929.  These discourses should prove just as encouraging and helpful and perhaps even more timely in view of the closing phase of the work for the church than they were when they were delivered.”

Based on the above quoted statement by the publishers of these sermons, we are forced to ask the following question to the analyst and the promulgators of the doctrines of the New Codes, as they are most commonly called: Who converted these sermons “from the most complete collection of existing notes” to the sermons published in the New Codes?

The “Analysis” on page 25 referred to these Codes as “V. T. Houteff Archive Sermons” and on page 18 as “original manuscript”; and falsely stated that “L.S.” (whom I believe to be me, Lennox Sam): “knows we have the original manuscript for to prove the sermons are truly Bro. HOUTEFF’S. He despise them because they cut across the grains of his HEAD BOWL FANTACIES”. What I, Lennox Sam, knows, is that the analyst has the morgue copies of the New Codes’ sermons and is parading them as original manuscripts of Brother Houteff’s sermons, and I also know that they are not original manuscripts. The original compiler and chief promulgator of these sermons, Salem Association, published the following statement on page 4 of the Blue Book: “which contained some of Bro. Houteff’s sermons from his card files”. Who should we believe concerning the origin of these sermons; Sister Houteff, Salem Association or Brother N. Archer? Well, Brother Commonsense tells me that since Sister Houteff was the original publisher of these sermons, she is the only one of the three promulgators who could have known the source of the heresy and she told us in the aforementioned code, that the sermons were from “NOTES”. Her successors in promulgation, are desperately trying to attach these sermons to Brother Houteff. Salem Association tells us that Sister Houteff recorded by shorthand each sermon while they were being presented and later typed it in longhand unto several 3 inches by 2 inches card files, which Salem found in the trailer at Elk, Texas, the same location Brother Archer found his manuscripts. Bro. Archer on the other hand tells us he found the original manuscript of these sermons. Both of these promulgators found something different from that which Sister Houteff used in her New Codes publications. These additions must be voluntarily placed in the fire place where they belong, by each of the various Associations. The Lord placed the Salem Association’s New Codes in the fire place as a warning to the other promulgators that the same fate awaits their additions, if they do not voluntarily put them where they belong.

The “Analysis” states on page three:

  • “APART FROM THE ROD MESSAGE OF 1930-1955 OUR NEXT SCHEDULE MEAL OF INSPIRED TRUTH IS IN THE KINGDOM.”

The MEALS served in the New Codes were served after 1955; and according to the above statement there should be no inspired Truth published before the Kingdom, therefore, that which is found in the New Codes is uninspired, according to the “Analysis”. To conclude this segment on the New Codes I will appropriately quote:

TN15: 31.1:  “…..Plainly, then, whatever things Inspiration Itself does not teach and interpret, are not worth remembering, teaching, or even listening to.”

The “Analysis” continues to say:

  • “V. T. HOUTEFF -THE ANTITYPICAL ELIJAH-THE LAST VOICE OF TIMLY THRTH” — Page 2 of the “Analysis”
  • “We have enough Truth to effect the sealing of the 144000. We will get more in the Kingdom.” — Page 3 of the “Analysis.”

Let us hear the Voice of Antitypical Elijah’s Timely Truth:

TN3(Third Edition): 89.4:  “Doubtless to some, these numerical equations will seem strange—as strange as the thought of the earth’s revolving on its axis was to the world of the Dark Ages! It is the incredibilities of today, however, that are the taken-for-granted realities of tomorrow.  So, though at present time little do we know of the many Bible numeric and their veiled code of truth, not so is it always to be, for God has placed them along the Bible’s highways and byways of Truth, as signposts calculated to point and to illuminate the Royal Road to the Kingdom. So may every traveler there on rejoice in deep gratitude for every ray of truth lighting his way. May the Lord forbid that any take the least chance in the darkness. And may each from unfeigning lips cry unto heaven: “O send out Thy light and Thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto Thy Holy hill, and to Thy tabernacles” (Ps. 43:3), that I may “be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord” (Hab. 2:14), yea even to the knowledge of The Number of the Saviour.”

I cannot imagine that a Davidian who reads this statement will conclude that the signposts to the Kingdom will be given after we get to the Kingdom. It would be the same folly as giving a visitor the directions to your home after he arrives at your door. Since these signposts are veiled codes of truth pointing and illuminating the Royal Road to the Kingdom, and as we are nearing its establishment, I humbly suggest that the analyst start unveiling these numeric codes to us and stop trying to deceive the very elect. Brother V. T. Houteff, the antitypical Elijah, clearly stated that there will be no other voice of Timely Truth to interpret the prophecies concerning the “Great and Dreadful Day of the Lord”; but in the above statement he informs us that the many Bible Numerics and their veiled code of truth must be made known to us; and he conceded that at the time little did he know of them. If he later learnt of them and published them, then, please point them out to us my dearly beloved analyst.

In 1954, months before Brother V. T. Houteff died, he revised and/or reprinted and copyrighted Timely Greetings Volume Two, Number Two, and made a startling revelation in the following statement:

2TG2: 14.3:  “The self-centered shepherds against whom the prophet is told to write, are to be replaced by one shepherd, David.  When this takes place God’s people will then have but one shepherd.  This, of course, cannot be Christ Himself, for Inspiration never calls Him David, but rather It calls Him the Son of David.  Since God’s people have always had, and still do have many shepherds, the truth stands out as clear as crystal that the David of verses 23 and 24 is yet to come, and that the shepherds whom Inspiration addresses are in particular those whom David is to succeed.”

Davidians at large say Brother Houteff is speaking of himself and use the statement made at the end of the study to support their argument. If we are to believe that Brother Houteff was speaking of himself months before he died, then by the same token of logic we must believe the General Conference when they tell us that Sister White was speaking of herself in the following statement she made years before her death:

TM 475:  “Prophecy must be fulfilled.  The Lord says: ‘Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord’.  Somebody is to come in the spirit and power of Elijah and when he appears, men may say: ‘You are too earnest, you do not interpret the Scriptures in the proper way.  Let me tell you how to teach your message.’ “

On page 17 of 2TG No. 2, Brother Houteff stated:

2TG2: 17.2:   “In the days of this antitypical David God gathers His flock from all the countries where they have been scattered, and brings them into their own land.  God will no longer leave them in the mountains and the hills of the Gentiles.  “Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel.  Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king; and shall fear the Lord and His goodness in the latter days.” Hos. 1:11; 3:5.”

The question we need to answer here is: did God gathered His flock from all countries and bring them into their own land in the days of Brother Houteff?  If your answer is no, then Brother Houteff is not the antitypical David of verses 23 and 24 of Ezekiel chapter 34, since his days have been over since February 5, 1955.  Therefore, the voice of antitypical David must be heard before the establishment of God’s Kingdom. Christ warned in the parable of Luke 19:12-27, and as interpreted in the Shepherd’s Rod Message, that the Antitypical David would be rejected:

TN8: 70.3:   “The “certain nobleman” in this parable is Christ, Himself, Who, soon after His resurrection, departed to the heaven of heavens, “the far country,” to be crowned King of kings and Lord of lords.  His ten servants, who are to occupy till His coming, represent, manifestly, the ministry at the closing of the gospel dispensation.  And His citizens, accordingly, represent the laity — the subjects of His kingdom.  Together, then, His servants and His citizens make up His entire kingdom — church.”

TN8: 71.1:   “As they “sent a message after Him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us,” the only conclusion admissible is that shortly before His return, Christ shall inform His “citizens” that He is taking “the reins in His own hands” to set up His kingdom, and that they, upon hearing the announcement, shall refuse to submit themselves to the one through whom He is to rule.”

TN8: 71.2:   “Observe that in the message which they “sent after Him,” his servants did not say, “We will not have You to reign over us,” but rather, “we will not have this man to reign over us.”  What they objected to was Christ’s reigning over them through someone else.  Clearly, then, before He is coronated, and prior to His return to reckon with His servants, He appoints a “man” to reign over them in His stead.  Whereupon they say to Him, by their attitude and stand toward His message, “We will not have this man to reign over us,” although “this man,” as we now see, is the antitypical David (the “simple means”), the visible king.

TN8: 72.1:   “Thus when Christ returns and reckons with His servants, He rewards the faithful ones in proportion as they have increased the principal with which they started, but condemns those who have had no burden to work for souls and to advance His kingdom, and who have been content to let Him do without their services.  For this unfaithfulness, He takes from them the “pound,” (light of truth), with which He had entrusted them, showing thereby that all are to be held responsible “for every ray of light,” for every lost moment, for every neglected opportunity.  And those who will not have Him thus reign over them, shall, at His return, be slain before Him as were those who rebelled against God’s government in olden times.”

Who are the servants of God just prior to the Lord’s returning? Is it the General Conference ministers or the Davidian Seventh-day Adventists? Let us hear antitypical Elijah:

TN8: 49.2:   “This revelatory statement conclusively proves that after the historical Minneapolis meeting in 1888, when the leaders rejected both the message and the counsel which was given them (Testimonies To Ministers, p. 468) the Lord did not any longer regard the General Conference as His servants, just as He did not any longer regard Saul as king over Israel after he turned from the Lord’s commands to him.  And now, having long since granted the popular demand to organize the General Conference, in fulfillment of the type, God warns that His forbearance is come to an end today just as it did then.  ….”

2TG43: 12.1:  “I say that if left in such an unhappy and unholy state the very elect would forever remain unclean and unsanctified — deceived!  And since the eleventh-hour servants, the Davidians, are the ones unto whom the message of this cleansing, “the Judgment of the Living,” is committed, then those who on account of it are our enemies, those who are doing everything they can to keep the common people ignorant of the Truth and from coming in contact with It, are the very ones who are endeavoring to deceive “the very elect,” if possible.  Thank God that it is impossible.”

2TG31: 4.2:   “At this coming He is not to take His saints to the mansions above, but He is to purify the sons of Levi — the ministry; He is to destroy the leaders of idolatry.  Since the purity of His servants is first to be restored, the restoration, therefore, commences in the Church.  Thus is the Edenic state of peace and security to be restored…”

“Since the purity of His servants is first to be restored”, put in another way, the purity of the Davidians, the eleventh-hour servants, the members of the Eleventh-hour Church, is first to be restored. Therefore, the restoration commences in the Eleventh-hour Church.

The “Analysis” says on page 17 that:

  • “There is no such thought or statement in the Rod call “the 11th hour church””

But the Rod says:

WHR: 33.2:  “Everything that can be done against God’s message of today will be done with even a greater vengeance than was manifest against Heaven’s message in the days of Christ’s first advent, for the Devil knows that if he loses now, he loses forever — that he is to have no other chance. Unparalleled, therefore, is the urgency that every eleventh-hour church member now quickly and solidly brace himself against the Enemy’s effort to deliver a knockout blow.  We must be alert, too, to realize that the blow is to come from surprisingly unsuspected foes — from professed friends of the gospel, who are no less pious than were priests in Christ’s day.  It is, moreover, but to be expected that the Adversary will employ every agency possible to prevent the Lord from disclosing to view His now obscure 144,000 first-fruit servants, who are to go gather in the second fruits (Rev. 7:9).  The Enemy will try everything conceivable to confuse, becloud, and cover up the Truth, especially on the subject of the 144,000.”

The enemies of revealed Truth tell us that the eleventh-hour has not struck and that therefore, there can be no 11th hour church; but the Rod says:

1SC6: 10.9:  “”Are we giving the 11th hour message now or will it not be given until after the fulfillment of Eze. 9? Has the angel that is to lighten the earth with his glory (E.W. 277) already come?” If the questioner will consult the chart on page 224 of Vol. 2 of the SRod, he will observe that the angels of Rev. 7 and 18 are represented as coming at the 11th hour, and as we are in the sealing time, it proves that we are now in the 11th hour.”

The “Analysis” says on page 4:

  • “Here is the ROD’S clear and simple agenda;”

After this statement the “Analysis” quoted several references and pointed out that “The Son of Man Himself obviously reaps the firstfruits”. The “Analyst” in this section is trying to prove that the vanguard does not have anything to do with the gathering of the first fruits. The enemy of Truth quotes a reference relating to the actual reaping of the first fruits and he knows that there is no statement in the Presentation making a claim that the vanguard reaps the firstfruits harvest, but rather, it clearly states that the vanguard gathers the firstfruits.

Here is the rest of the Rod’s clear and simple agenda, which the “Analysis” conveniently omitted:

1TG9: 5.1: “It matters not what we think, God is to have a strong, faithful people, the very kind here described; and Jerusalem is to be inhabited by holy people, not a sinner among them.  Since the antitypical prophet Elijah, who appears just before the great and dreadful day of the Lord, just before the Judgment day for the living, finds the church overrun by the Devil as badly as was the Jewish church in Christ’s day, and as the saints, the first fruits, are to be rescued one by one, He at first sends fishers to fish them out and afterwards hunters to hunt them out (Jer. 16:16).  Thus He gathers them one by one (Isa. 27:12, 13).  And so it is today — they are fished by this free literature, and are now hunted by men right to their houses, be they in the city, village, or countryside.”

1TG9: 10.2: “In addition to this great and grand work, while in God’s hand as a battle ax (Jer. 51:20), He is with it to break the Gentiles’ yoke which now rests upon the shoulders of God’s people.  With it He is to emancipate His people from Gentile rule: ‘from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea….’ (Isa. 11:11).  With it He is to ‘set up an ensign for the nations,’ and to ‘assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.’ Isa. 11:12.  To get this work done we are to be at first the ‘many fishers,’ then the ‘many hunters’ (Jer. 16:16)Thus it is that the first fruits are to be gathered ‘one by one.’ Isa. 27:12.  We are now in the hunting days — going from city to city, from village to village, and from door to door, a thing which has never before been done.  Besides fishing and hunting we also are to make ‘a highway for the remnant of His people which shall be left, [after the first fruits are gathered] from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.’ Isa. 11:16.  After this hunting is over and the highway built up, then it is that the second fruits will flow to the mountain of the Lord’s house.  One nation, as it were, will say to another nation, ‘Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the Word of the Lord from Jerusalem.’ Mic. 4:2.”

7SC1-6: 15.1.4:  “The Code does not intend to convey the idea that no one ever will be qualified to teach, for such a static condition, on the part of God’s people, would make them forever unfit to gather in the first and second fruits.  Clearly, therefore, what the Code did say, is merely that no one was at that time qualified.  Our unfitness, however, rather than disheartening and causing us to sit idle, should, as the Code intended, encourage us to prepare for service.  We should, therefore, diligently study the message and faithfully comply with all its requirements, and while we are thus making ourselves ready, we can be helping others to do likewise.”

From the above three references we can clearly see that the first and second fruits are gathered by Davidians, the Eleventh-hour church members; and then Christ reaps the harvest of the first fruits and the 144,000 reaps the harvest of the second fruits. This is the Rod’s whole agenda, whereas, the analyst’s agenda is to try to deceive the very elect by omitting pertinent references on the subject; thank God it is not possible to deceive the elect, the 144,000 first fruits.

The “Analysis” says on pages 5 and 6:

  • “ONLY THE 144000 IS APPOINTED TO RECEIVE THE OUTPOURING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT WHEN THEY ARE ALL SEALED – ALL AT ONCE”
  • “IT IS NOT ON GOD’S AGENDA TO GIVE MIRACLE WORKING HOLY SPIRIT POWER TO ANY HUMAN BEING TO GATHER THE 144000!”

Let the Rod tell us what God’s agenda is:

LDSDA: 3.2:   “The name, Davidian, deriving from the name of the king of Ancient Israel, accrues to this Association by reason of its following aspects: First, it is dedicated to the work of announcing and bringing forth the restoration (as predicted in Hosea 1:11; 3:5) of David’s kingdom in antitype, upon the throne of which Christ, “the son of David,” is to sit.  Second, it purports itself to be the first of the first fruits of the living, the vanguard from among the present-day descendants of those Jews who composed the Early Christian Church.  With the emergence of this vanguard and its army, the first fruits, from which are elected the 12,000 out of each of the twelve tribes of Jacob, ‘the 144,000’ (Rev. 14:1; 7:2-8) who stand on Mount Zion with the Lamb (Rev. 14:1; 7:2-8), the reign of antitypical David begins.”

Here we are told that Davidians, are purporting only to be the first of the first fruits of the living, not all of the first fruits of the living, those who shall never taste of death.  If there is a first section to the first fruits of the living, there must be a second section. Therefore, the first fruits of the living are in two sections, the vanguard and its army, from which are elected the 144,000, the first fruits of the living. The first of the first fruits of the living, the vanguard, are descendants of the Jews, the two tribe Kingdom. And since the SDA denomination is divided into two groups, the Davidians and the Laodiceans, and since the Davidians are the descendants of two tribes, then, the Laodiceans must be the descendants of the ten tribes. Thus, the Davidians will be 24,000 (12,000 from each of the two tribes) strong and the Laodiceans 120,000 (12,000 from each of the ten tribes), for a total of 144,000 first fruits of the living, as it is written.

The Constitution of The Davidian Seventh-day Adventists tells us that our object is:

LDSDA: 5.1:   “The object of this Association is to bring about among God’s people that reformation called for in the Testimonies for the Church Volume 9, page 126, as the prerequisite movement to sounding the ‘Eleventh-Hour Call’ (Matt. 20:6, 7) of ‘the everlasting gospel…to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people.’ Rev. 14:6.  Through this call, the Loud Cry of the three angels’ messages, it is to gather ‘the people of the saints of the Most High’ (Dan. 7:27) into the kingdom ‘which shall never be destroyed…but…shall break in pieces and consume all…kingdoms.’ Dan. 2:44.  Thus it shall usher in the reign of Christ as Lord of lords and King of kings over all the earth forever and ever.”

The Testimonies tell us:

9T 126.1:  “In visions of the night, representations passed before me of a great reformatory movement among God’s people. Many were praising God. The sick were healed, and other miracles were wrought. A spirit of intercession was seen, even as was manifested before the great Day of Pentecost. Hundreds and thousands were seen visiting families and opening before them the word of God. Hearts were convicted by the power of the Holy Spirit, and a spirit of genuine conversion was manifest. On every side doors were thrown open to the proclamation of the truth. The world seemed to be lightened with the heavenly influence. Great blessings were received by the true and humble people of God. I heard voices of thanksgiving and praise, and there seemed to be a reformation such as we witnessed in 1844.”

9T 126.2: Yet some refused to be converted. They were not willing to walk in God’s way, and when, in order that the work of God might be advanced, calls were made for freewill offerings, some clung selfishly to their earthly possessions. These covetous ones became separated from the company of believers.”

Note that this reformation with miracle working power will take place before Pentecost, such as was witnessed in 1844, and we all know that the third and final Pentecost is yet to come.  Inspiration tells us that the “sick were healed, and other miracles were wrought” during this reformation among God’s people, the Seventh-day Adventists. The Rod tells us that the only object of God’s Association is to bring about this miracle working reformation amongst God’s people. The Rod tells us that the vision in Testimonies for the Church Volume 9, page 126 is the same as show to John in Rev. 8:5:

SR2: 219.2:   “The great reformation in view, vividly represented by the angel at the golden altar with the prayers of the saints, and the casting of the fire from the altar to the earth, is foretold, also, in the following testimony: “In visions of the night representations passed before me of a great reformatory movement among God’s people.  Many were praising God.  The sick were healed, and other miracles were wrought.  A spirit of intercession was seen; even as was manifested before the great day of Pentecost.  Hundreds and thousands were seen visiting families, and opening before them the word of God.  Hearts were convicted by the power of the Holy Spirit, and a spirit of genuine conversion was manifest.  On every side doors were thrown open to the proclamation of the truth.  The world seemed to be lightened with the heavenly influence.  Great blessings were received by the true and humble people of God.” — “Testimonies for the Church,” Vol. 9, p. 126.”

SR2: 220.4:   “The date of that most glorious event for the righteous, but exceeding solemn for the wicked, will be made known at the fulfillment of the following verse: “And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings and an earthquake.” (Rev. 8:5.)  The casting of the fire from the altar into the earth is the outpouring of the Spirit of God.  We have stated before that the book of Revelation is a revealing of prophecies, and not a prophecy of itself.  Therefore, we find the prediction of this glorious event in Joel 2:28, 29.  The “voices, and thunderings, and lightnings,” denote the opening of the judgment for the living, as they also denote the opening of the judgment for the dead. (See Rev. 4:5.)  The earthquake will be the sign of the event.”

SR2: 215.3:   “Now let us consider the truth as taught by the last seal.  Note carefully the order of each act.  The seal is opened, and silence follows, for it reads: “and when he had opened the seventh seal there was silence.”  The Revised Version, Weymouth, the Greek, and the Bulgarian Bibles read the same way.  The silence was followed by the angel coming to the altar with the censer, after he offered the prayers of the saints.  And then he filled the censer with fire, and cast the fire to the earth and again the voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.  This is the exact order of each event.

These references tells us that Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 9, p. 126 is the outpouring of God’s Spirit upon His people as seen by John in Rev. 8:5. This outpouring is not to gather the Great Multitude but rather for the advancement of the work of God for His people in the SDA Church.  After this outpouring, the Judgment of the Living begins with the “voices, thunderings, and lightnings”. Are we to believe all of the first fruits of the living are all judged before the judgment of the living begins? We will answer this question when we deal with the half-hour silence in Heaven.

In addition, it is written that there are three groups of people during the Judgement of the Living:

ABN2: 15.1:  “The fact that there is a remnant (that which is left) of the seed of the woman, shows that her seed is divided into two parts, and that consequently the symbolism represents three groups of people: (1) the woman; (2) the first part of her seed–those who in this instance are not the remnant; (3) the second part of her seed–those who are the remnant.”

Note that the seed is divided into two parts, but the division results in three groups of people. It is written:

ABN2: 15.2:  “In the light of this symbolical representation, the woman, herself, is seen to symbolize the mother part of the church–God’s appointed and Spirit-filled ministers who bring in the born-again (John 3:3) converts. The first part of her seed must, accordingly, be the first fruits, the 144,000, who, separated from the sinners that were among them, are taken to Mount Sion, there to stand with the Lamb (Rev. 14:1). Hence, ‘the remnant of her seed’ are in this instance those who are yet in the world when Babylon rides the beast (Rev. 17). Thus they are the second and last fruits which are to be taken to the purified church, the Kingdom, where there is neither sin nor fear of Babylon’s plagues falling upon them (Rev. 18:4).”

Who might these spirit-filled ministers be, for they are not the 144,000, the second group of people, neither are they the second fruits, the third group of people? Obviously, for them to be called spirit-filled, they must have received an outpouring of God’s Spirit.

It is written:

ABN2: 15.3:  “And now, since in her progression of time, the woman represents each successive ministry, therefore at the time that the dragon is wroth with her, she necessarily must represent the last ordained ministry, the 144,000, those who bring all their brethren from all nations to God’s ‘holy mountain Jerusalem.’ Isa. 66:20.”

Note that the spirit-filled ministers are succeeded by the 144,000, the last ordained ministry. The question that I will leave for the “Analysis” to answer in its next attempt to trample on God’s Rod is: Who are God’s appointed and Spirit-filled ministers who bring in the born-again converts and are succeeded by the last ordained ministry, the 144,000?

The “Analysis” continues on page 6 to say:

  • “THERE IS NO SUCH IDEA OR THOUGHT AS PRE-PURIFICATION OF DSDA IN THE ROD, SPIRIT OF PROPHECY OR THE BIBLE.”

From this and other statements made in the “Analysis” I can now see why the analyst is promulgating that I am bringing a new message, for it is obvious that the analyst does not know what is written in the Rod. I will assume the “Analysis” means before the purification or harvest in its use of the hyphenated word “Pre-purification”.

Let us begin with the Holy Bible:

Isa. 8:20: To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, [it is] because [there is] no light in them.”

Let us hear the Mosaic Law:

Lev. 23:10:  “Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:”

Lev. 23:11:  “And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.”

Lev. 23:17:  “Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; [they are] the firstfruits unto the LORD.”

The Law clearly shows that the first fruits harvest is in two sections. Let us now hear the testimony of antitypical Elijah:

TN3: 76.1:   “Here we see commanded the observance of three harvest rites: (1) the ceremony of the wave-sheaf, at the beginning of the first harvest; (2) the ceremony of the wave-loaves, at the close of the first harvest; and (3) the feast of tabernacles at the close of the second harvest. Being typical, these two grain harvests with their three literal sacraments, accordingly foreshadow two soul harvests with three spiritual rites, the first of which is the First Fruits With Wave-Sheaf And Wave-Loaves.”

TN3: 76.2:   “Being of cut stalks of grain, the wave-sheaf signified fruits to be harvested. And as the sheaf was to be offered before the sickle was put to the grain and gathered into sheaves, it obviously pointed forward to a spiritual harvest of first fruits to be gathered.”

The testimony of Sister E. G. White says:

GC 399.2:  “Like the wave sheaf, which was the first ripe grain gathered before the harvest, Christ is the first fruits of that immortal harvest of redeemed ones that at the future resurrection shall be gathered into the garner of God.”

From these statements we see that the Testimonies of the two prophets confirm that the first fruits harvest is in two sections, and the sheaf was waved before the sickle was put to the grain. In other words, before the harvest of the first fruits begins, a sheaf of cuts stalks must be offered to the Lord as a thank offering for the first fruits harvest. The waving of the sheaf is a pre-harvest/purification ceremony. The wave-sheaf is also called “the first of the first fruits”, as written in:

TN3: 80.1:   “Just as Christ arose on the very day the sheaf was to be offered, likewise the Holy Spirit fell upon the 120 disciples on the very day the wave-loaves were to be presented before the Lord. The apostolic Pentecost was accordingly the prototype of the ceremonial Pentecost (the day the wave-loaves were offered). And since the wave-sheaf was a figure of Christ and of those who arose with Him as the first of the first fruits of the dead, hence the wave-loaves were a figure of the 120 Spirit-filled disciples who were the full complement of first fruits of the dead, and who were gathered in after the resurrection.”

LDSDA: 3.2:   “…..Second, it purports itself to be the first of the first fruits of the living, the vanguard from among the present-day descendants of those Jews who composed the Early Christian Church…..”

Here we have two separate and distinct “first of the first fruits”, the first being of those who tasted death and the latter of those who shall never taste of death.  Providential design placed the progressive light on the first fruits of the living in the Tract that borrows a portion of its name from the Biblical Law Book, The Leviticus. In 1943 when The Leviticus of The Davidian Seventh-day Adventists was published, we received from God our new name and antitypical identity, identifying us as the first of the first fruits of the living, and typifying that the Levitical law of the first fruits harvest is in two sections. Thus, statements prior to 1943 showing those that resurrected with Christ as the wave-sheaf of the living, must from 1943 forward, be understood as referring to them in the antitypical harvest of humanity and not in the harvest of the living, those who shall never taste death. The Rod makes it crystal clear that those who resurrected with Christ will be numbered among the dead in the Kingdom when it is fully setup, and not among the living, those who will never die, for that is impossible. It is written in:

TN9: 41.1:   “The ‘mountain,’ the kingdom of God, clearly then, is begun with the first fruits of the living (the 144,000) and followed by the second fruits of the living (the great multitude — Rev. 7 :9), and is completed with the first and second fruits of the dead — the 120 (those who received the Spirit on the day of Pentecost), plus those who arose with Christ (Matt. 27:52, 53), plus the great multitude who accepted Him after the Pentecost (Acts 5:14), plus all who awake to everlasting life in the resurrection of Daniel 12:2, plus the remaining dead of all ages, who rise on the great resurrection day (Rev. 20:6), also those of Ezek. 37:1-14.”

Note that there are two groups in the first fruits of the dead, the reason that only the total number of the first fruits of the living was mentioned, is simply because the light of two sections in the first fruits of the living harvest, was not shining in 1941 when Tract Number 9 was published. It is written in:

JL6: 2.1:   “Besides their racial lineage of identification there are the words “first,” “fruits,” “servants of God,” “sealed” and “standing on Mount Zion” by which to identify who the 144,000 are and what they are.  Obviously they are called fruits because they are the result of the “harvest,” the work which separates the tares from the wheat.  The word “first” connotes that they are the first crop (group) to be harvested — separated from the “tares,” for Jesus explains that the harvest is the time in which to separate the tares from the wheat (Matt. 13:30).”

The “Analysis” continues its rhetoric on pages 7 and 8:

  • “HALF AN HOUR SILENCE – 7 DAY”
  • “THE ROD says; 2SR 216, 217, 220, 221.”
  • “You have just heard the simple, clear, easy to be understood, authentic, inspired truth about the half an hour silence.”

The “Analysis” quotes only the 1932 statements on the subject of the half-hour silence in Heaven, thus only reflecting the light shining at that time. Since this letter is to help the analyst and followers, we will quote the statements omitted by the “Analysis”, for it is written in:

3SC1: 11.1.1:   “…..whatever interpretation we may place on any statement in reference to any truth, must be in harmony with every other statement on the subject. ..”

Let us begin by calculating the prophetic half hour in:

Rev. 8:1: “And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

1 Prophetic day =    1 Year

1 Day              =           24 hours

1 Year             =          360 days

24 hours          =        360 days

1 hour              =          360/24 days

1 hour              =          15 days

½ hour             =          7 ½ days

Let us now hear the omitted 1947 statements on the subject, note carefully that the pertinent statements of the half-hour silence is found mainly in Shepherd’s Rod Volume Two, the 1932 light, and Tract No. 15, the 1947 light.

TN15: 17.5:   “During the period of the six seals, while the first session of the Judgment is on, the four beasts rest not day and night, saying, ‘Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.’ Rev. 4:8.  But when the seventh seal is opened, there is silence in heaven (the beasts hold their peace, also the ‘lightnings,’ the ‘thunderings,’ and the ‘voices’ cease — Rev. 4:5) ‘about the space of half an hour.’ Rev. 8:1.  The silence clearly reveals that the first session of the Judicial proceedings comes to a close, and that the second session commences after the silence is over.

TN15: 19.3:  “That the dead are judged in the first session, and the living in the second,…”

TN15: 65.2:   “As we have seen, the silence divides the two pre-millennial Judicial sessions, the one for the dead and the other for the living, ……. the Judgment of the living, the cleansing of the earthly temple, is something which takes place on earth, not in heaven only!”

TN15: 67.3:   “The truth therefore is trouble-free: Between the Judgment of the dead and the Judgment of the living stands the half-hour silence, the time absorbed in bringing the first Judicial session to a close and in preparing for the second session.”

Note carefully in the 1947 light on the subject of the half-hour silence in Heaven, the truth is trouble-free, and there is no mention of seven days of slaughter, but rather the entire half an hour is absorbed in bringing the first Judicial session to a close and in preparing for the second session. Thus, before the second session, the Judgment of the Living, begins, a preparation must be made. What can that preparation be?

Let us consider in juxtaposition the light shining in 1932 with the brighter light of 1947:

SR2: 217.1:  “…Thus, while the five men with the slaughter weapons are taking away those represented by the tares within the church, there will be silence in heaven for about half an hour (seven days), …” 1932

TN15: 67.3:  The truth therefore is trouble-free: Between the Judgment of the dead and the Judgment of the living stands the half-hour silence, the time absorbed in bringing the first Judicial session to a close and in preparing for the second session. 1947

Has the light on the subject of the half an hour silence progressed to the understanding that it is a time of preparation and not a seven day slaughter? Is the slaughter of the wicked among the entire first fruits of the living, the preparation for the judgment of the living, leaving only the second fruits of the living to be judged during the judgment of living session? Let us hear another statement showing that the judicial activity in the Heavenly Sanctuary adjourned:

TN15: 64.2:  “After a time the Judicial demonstrations — the voices “saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty,” the thunderings and the lightnings, — cease for the space of half an hour, very definitely indicating that the Judicial throng of the first session of the Judgment adjourns.”

Let us consider the 1932 statement in juxtaposition with a 1944 statement.

SR2: 217.1:  “…Thus, while the five men with the slaughter weapons are taking away those represented by the tares within the church, there will be silence in heaven for about half an hour (seven days), …” 1932

ABN2: 41.2:   That part of the Investigative Judgment of the living, by which is determined who are to have their sins blotted out and, as a result, be given eternal life, is paralleled on earth by the work of the angel with the “writer’s inkhorn,” who is charged to “mark” (seal) everyone who sighs and cries for all the abominations in Judah and Israel–the church. And the work of the five others who follow on to slay all who have not the “mark” (seal), is paralleled in heaven by the blotting out of the sinners’ names from the Book of Life. 1944

Here we are told that the work of the five men is paralleled in Heaven with the blotting out of the sinner’s names from the Book of Life. The word parallel could mean that these events are simultaneously occurring or taking place at different times. If the word parallel in this instance means a simultaneous work, it would cause the light of 1932 to grow dim as the brighter light shines to give an up-to-date knowledge of the subject of the half an hour silence in heaven. Let us hear what is written:

TN3 (Third Edition): 99.2; (Second Edition): 88.1:   “…. (2)  the judgment, the harvest, embraces two phases, two periods; the former for the dead, the latter for the living that (3) the one takes place according to the records in the books in the heavenly sanctuary, whereas the other takes place simultaneously in the church on earth and in the books in heaven; ….” 1942

During the half hour silence in Heaven the judicial activity is adjourned, therefore there can be no work on earth by the five men, since their work of slaying the wicked takes place at the same time the names of the wicked are being blotted out of the Lamb’s Book of life in the heavenly Sanctuary.  This makes it clear as crystal that the 1932 light shining on the half hour silence in Heaven was eclipsed by the subsequent light on the subject, in the same manner as the 1932 light of Isaiah chapter 11, being understood to be depicting the New Earth, was eclipsed by the kingdom Truth of 1938.

Is the analyst teaching that Isaiah chapter 11 depicts the New Earth, according to the 1932 light and ignoring the Kingdom light? If he is not, then he should not be teaching that the half hour silence is a seven day slaughter according to 1932 light on the subject.

In conclusion, the half hour silence in Heaven is not the time in which the five men slay the wicked in the church but rather:  “the time absorbed in bringing the first Judicial session to a close and in preparing for the second session”. This truth is trouble free to the wise, but very confusing to the foolish.

The question we must now answer is: What is the preparation for the second session, the judgment of the living?

Let us begin with the testimony of the earliest post apostolic prophet:

DA 785.4:  “Christ arose from the dead as the first fruits of those that slept. He was the antitype of the wave sheaf, and His resurrection took place on the very day when the wave sheaf was to be presented before the Lord. For more than a thousand years this symbolic ceremony had been performed. From the harvest fields the first heads of ripened grain were gathered, and when the people went up to Jerusalem to the Passover, the sheaf of first fruits was waved as a thank offering before the Lord. Not until this was presented could the sickle be put to the grain, and it be gathered into sheaves ….”

GC 399.2:  “….. ‘Christ the first fruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at His coming.’ 1 Corinthians 15:23. Like the wave sheaf, which was the first ripe grain gathered before the harvest, Christ is the first fruits of that immortal harvest of redeemed ones that at the future resurrection shall be gathered into the garner of God.”

The latter post apostolic prophet says:

TN3: 78.3:   “The wave-sheaf was to be offered ‘on the morrow after the Sabbath’ — that is, on the first day of the week, now commonly called Sunday. This offering was to be presented, not on a special day of the month, but rather on a special day of the week, before the sickle was put to the grain and gathered into sheaves (Lev. 23:11, 14). Coming just at the right time, in the season of the first fruits, the Passover week was the period in which the wave-sheaf was usually offered before the Lord, …”

TN3: 76.2:  “Being of cut stalks of grain, the wave-sheaf signified fruits to be harvested. And as the sheaf was to be offered before the sickle was put to the grain and gathered into sheaves, it obviously pointed forward to a spiritual harvest of first fruits to be gathered.”

Here we see that the sheaf offering is the prerequisite of the firstfruits harvest, not until this is done could the sickle be put to the grain. The wave-sheaf is also called the first of the first fruits. There can be no first fruits harvest before the first of the first fruits are offered to the Lord as a thank offering.

Davidians at large believe that those who resurrected with Christ are the wave-sheaf of the living, based on statements made before the 1943 light. Let us remember that it is written in the law that the first fruits harvest is in two sections, and the sheaf is waved at the commencement of the first fruits harvest.  It is also written that those who resurrected with Christ were waved in 1844. In light of the 1943 light, were they waved as the wave-sheaf of the first fruits of the dead, wave-sheaf of the first fruits of the living or wave-sheaf of the first fruits of the humanity? If you say of the dead then you will negate that which took place at the resurrection of Christ, if you say of the living, then you are saying that the judgement of the living commenced in 1844, the correct answer is “of humanity”, for Christ enters into the Sanctuary once and for all, both the dead and the living. The judgment of humanity began with the dead and will end with the living; the judgement of the living begins after the half hour silence in Heaven. The first of the first fruits of the dead were separated from the grave on the morrow after the Sabbath the same day the sheaf of grain was offered to the Lord. This took place on earth not in Heaven; likewise the separation of the first of the first fruits of the living, the vanguard, will take place on the selfsame day here on earth, not in Heaven.

Those who are not in the “up-to-date light of truth” ask, who will wave the first of the first fruits of the living, the vanguard, and in which sanctuary? The answer is very simple, if they are to be waved it will be by the same person who waved the first of the first fruits of the dead, Christ and those who resurrected with Him, if they were ever waved.

Now the answer to the question “what is the preparation for the second session”:

The preparation for the judgement of the living, the second judicial session, is the destruction of the wicked amongst the first of the first fruits of the living; leaving only the vanguard, the first of the first fruits in the church, as the first of the first fruits of those who will never die. This destruction/purification takes place in the “Eleventh-hour Church” on earth during the half an hour silence in Heaven.

The “Analysis” says on page 8:

  • “L. Sam says that Christ and His angels will leave Heaven on the 10th day of the 1st month to execute judgment.”

It is written:

GC 399.4:  “In like manner, the types which relate to the second advent must be fulfilled at the time pointed out in the symbolic service. Under the Mosaic system, the cleansing of the sanctuary, or the great day of atonement, occurred on the tenth day of the seventh Jewish month, [Leviticus 16:29-34.] when the high priest, having made an atonement for all Israel, and thus removed their sins from the sanctuary, came forth and blessed the people. So it was believed that Christ, our great High Priest, would appear to purify the earth by the destruction of sin and sinners, and to bless his waiting people with immortality. The tenth day of the seventh month, the great day of atonement, the time of the cleansing of the sanctuary, which in the year 1844 fell upon the twenty-second of October, was regarded as the time of the Lord’s coming. This was in harmony with the proofs already presented that the 2300 days would terminate in the autumn, and the conclusion seemed irresistible.”

In this statement we learn that the types relating to the Second Advent must be fulfilled at the time pointed out in the symbolic service, beginning in 1844 with the antitypical Day of Atonement, judgment day. Carefully note that October 22, 1844 was regarded as the time of Christ coming, not to the earth as expected by the 6th hour church. The Rod illustrates the two comings of the Lord, in Answerer Book No. 3, page 12:

This month [shall be] unto you the beginning of months: it [shall be] the first month of the year to you. Ex. 12:1, 2. “lights in the firmament… for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years” (Gen. 1:14)
The Sacred Year and Its Main Feasts

The Golden Bowl explains the chart as follows:

ABN3: 13.1:  “This chart enables us to see that just as one solar season matches another (the vernal equinox matches the autumnal equinox, and the summer solstice, the winter solstice), in like fashion the sacred feasts of one season match the sacred feasts of another season: the tenth day of the first month, the separation of the unblemished lamb from the flock (Ex. 12:3), corresponding to the tenth day of the seventh month, the work of Atonement, the separation of the righteous from the unrighteous, signifying in both events a day of judgment, a day of separating the holy from the unholy; ……..”

In this statement the tenth day of the seventh month and the tenth day of the first month are both days of judgment. The tenth day of the seventh month was the coming (GC: 399.4) of the Lord to the Heavenly Sanctuary for the Judgment of humanity, beginning with the righteous dead. Obviously, the tenth day of the first month must also be a day of the Lord’s coming, this time He is coming to the earthly sanctuary for the judgment of the living. In the type, the lamb was separated from the flock on the 10th day of the first month and was slain on the 14th day of the first month. It is written in:

TN3: 46.2:   “The angels who are round about the throne in the heavenly sanctuary during the judgment of Daniel 7:9, 10 and of Revelation 5:11 shall, as the parables explain, descend with “the Son of man” when He comes “to His temple” (His church) to separate by judgment “the wicked from among the just,” and to purge as gold and silver those “who may abide the day of His coming…that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.” Mal. 3:2, 3.”

TN3: 46.3:  “In graphic demonstration that He will come to earth with all His angels to execute judgment upon the living, the Lord revealed Himself prophetically to Ezekiel as being brought enthroned to earth by four living creatures just before the slaughter of the hypocrites in the church takes place. And as each of the living creatures has the face of a lion, the face of a calf, the face of a man, and the face of an eagle (Ezek. 1:10), — the same judicial insignia as have the beasts who are before the throne in the heavenly sanctuary (Rev. 4:7) in the time of the judgment of the dead, — and as they descend to earth, they thereby symbolically show that the work of the mediatorial-judicial throne which convenes and presides over the judgment of the dead is extended to earth.”

TN3: 47.1:   “This extension, so far as we are able to know now, must take place at the opening of the seventh seal (Rev. 8:1), for at that time the celestial voices, which opened the judgment of the dead, cease in the heavenly sanctuary and begin, after the half hour’s silence, to sound on earth. In other words, just as in heaven at the opening of the judgment of the dead, there were “lightnings and thunderings and voices” (Rev. 4:5), likewise on earth at the opening of the “judgment of the living,” there are “voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.” Rev. 8:5.”

TN3: 47.2:   “With the judgment of the dead, however, the work of separation takes place in the books in the heavenly sanctuary; whereas with the judgment of the living, the separation takes place among the people in the church as well as among their names in the books in the heavenly sanctuary, thus showing that both sanctuaries will finally be cleansed.”

TN3: 47.3:   “Inescapably, therefore, the Lord’s coming to His temple (Mal. 3:1-3), His coming with all His angels (Matt. 25), and His coming enthroned above the living creatures (Ezek. 1), — all three representing the same event as has been shown, — take place at the beginning of the judgment of the living: the time in which the judicial activities of the heavenly sanctuary extend to the earthly sanctuary — the church.”

It is clear as crystal that it is not L. Sam that said that Christ and His angels shall leave the heavenly Sanctuary on the 10th day of the first month, it is the Rod. If the analyst still fails to see Christ’s coming with His angels on the tenth day of the first month after the evidences just presented, then the following statement is fulfilled:

3SC5-6: 7.1.8:   “Says the Spirit of Prophecy, ‘Close reasoners and logical thinkers are few.’  ‘How many men in this age of the world fail to go deep enough.  They only skim the surface.  They will not think closely enough to see difficulties and grapple with them, and will not examine every important subject which comes before them with thoughtful, prayerful study, and with sufficient caution and interest to see the real point at issue.  They talk of matters which they have not fully and carefully weighed.’—‘Fundamentals of Christian Education,’ p. 27; “Testimonies for the Church,” Vol. 4, p. 361.”

The “Analysis” continues says on page 8:

  • “From the 10th to the 14th of the 1st month HE is to complete the sealing in the 11th hour church (DSDA) {The Rod message teaches that the 144,000 are sealed before the half an hour silence). That is 5 days so far. The slaughter in the 11th hour church (DSDA) start on the 15th and goes on till the 21st of the 1st That is seven days. So far we have 5 days + 7 days. Therefore, the silence in Heaven totals 12 days so far according to L. Sam’s chart. 13 day after Christ descends to the earth, the vanguard receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and then they preach for 150 days to gather the rest of the 144,000, then commence the continuation of Ezekiel 9 on the 22nd of the 6th month in the SDA CHURCH. According to the chart this cleansing takes only one day. After the slaughter the 144,000 (vanguard and army) go through Jacob’s Time of Trouble (Sunday Blue Law) for 210 days before the Kingdom is set up. THIS IS CONFUSION!!”

The confusion of the “Analysis” is in the head of the analyst and not on the chart, for the chart does not show twelve or thirteen days. The chart and the Presentation both say that the purification of the 11th hour Church takes place on the eighteenth day of the first month. When any student of the Word counts the number of days from the tenth day of the first month to the eighteenth day of the first month, he will have a total of eight days. Depending on the time Christ arrives on the tenth day of the first month and the time the purification begins on the eighteenth day of the first month, as shown on the timeline chart, it will be about half an hour, as John stated. The prophetic half an hour is seven and one half days when using a day for a year interpretation. In the illustrative Timeline chart there is no such statement as a continuation of Ezekiel 9, neither is there such a statement in the Presentation; not sure where the analyst got this from. What is stated in the Timeline illustration is: Ezekiel 9 takes place first in the 11th hour Church, then again in the 9th hour Church; two separate and distinct fulfillments of Ezekiel 9.

If the analyst should carefully re-read Ezekiel chapter nine he will notice that Ezekiel saw six men with slaughter weapons in their hands and one of the six men with the weapons in their hands had a writer’s inkhorn by his side. Ezekiel was not shown the six men slaying, he was only given a vision of the five men slaying while the other one marked. Sound reasoning and logical thinking would query as to when will the man with the writer’s inkhorn by his side use the slaughter weapon in his hand? For it is written:

TN3: 71.2:   “The reason that the church is figuratively not “Babylon” is that it is called Jerusalem (Ezek. 9:4,8), and from among the good therein, the wicked (the tares) are destroyed, taken out, by the six men with the slaughter weapons (Ezek. 9:6-9), and then afterward the good (the wheat) are gathered in “the barn;” while from among the wicked in Babylon, the just (“My people”) are called out and gathered into the barn, and then the seven angels pour out the seven last plagues, and the remaining wicked are destroyed.”

TN3: 71.3:  “Thus in the first section of the harvest, the separation in the church, the wicked are destroyed by six men with slaughter weapons, before the good are taken out; and in the second section, the separation among the churches in Babylon, the wicked are destroyed by seven angels with the seven last plagues, after the good are taken out. There are therefore two separations and two fruits: the former gives the first fruits, the 144 000, who are not defiled with women (Rev. 14:4). That is, they are those whom the sealing message finds in the church of God, not in the heathen churches. And the second gives the second fruits, the great multitude from all nations, some of whom also may be undefiled with women — heathen churches.”

To get the answer to the question when will the man with the writer’s inkhorn by his side use the slaughter weapon in his hand? And also the total numbers of days for the time of Jacob’s trouble, see Presentation No. 7 online at www.gadsda.com.

The “Analysis” continues further to say on page 8:

  • “How long was Jacob’s literal time trouble? One night! One night! I repeat. All who studies the Rod message knows that Jacob’s Trouble is an experience the 144,000 goes through for a short time, maybe one day and a night before they are delivered.”

These two sentences are typical of the new codes rhetoric. The first statement following the rhetorical question was a definite exclamatory phrase: “One night! One night! I repeat”, the second statement uses the word maybe. Which is it? One night! One night! Or “maybe one day and a night”. I guess the uncertainty is with “maybe one day”. Could it be two nights since “one night” was stated twice or is it only “one night”?

The “Analysis” goes on to say on page 8:

  • “A decree went forth to slay the saints, which caused them to cry day and night for deliverance. This was the time of Jacob’s trouble. Then all the saints cried out with anguish of spirit, and were delivered by the voice of God. The 144,000 triumphed”. Early Writings, p. 36, 37
  • “This TROUBLE is the same as the SOLEMN ASSEMBLY”

This is absurdity at an unspeakable level. Since the Truth exposing the false doctrines of the new codes began sounding, the explanation of “the time of Jacob’s trouble” has changed several times as the New Coders are questioned based on current events, but never before have I heard that it is the same as the solemn assembly; this is new to me, maybe because I am Old Coded and not New Coded.

If we should go back to verses 12 to 14 of Joel Chapter Two and read the Rod’s interpretation in Timely Greetings Volume Two, Number 8, page twenty-one, paragraph two, we will understand that the preparation for the solemn assembly of verses 15 and 16 is before the great and dreadful day of the Lord; and that the people of God are called to assemble together so as to draw nearer to God and be sanctified, before the trouble comes upon them. Said trouble begins immediately after the purification of the church. How does a solemn assembly of God’s people become a trouble?  Or does the “Analysis” means the solemn assembly takes place during the trouble? Looks like this trouble is not only coming to save the New Coders but also coming to sanctity them. I pray that this letter starts the decoding of the multitude of New Coders before it is too late, especially the chief promulgators.

The “Analysis” says on page 9:

  • “Who will make Jacob cry day and night for deliverance?”
  • “Moreover, since this antitypical Assyria’s fall liberates God’s people, and since from then on the wicked no longer pass through their midst, the time and the events are solidly clinched: All these predictions come to pass in the time of the purification of the church, in the Judgment day of the living, during the great and dreadful day of the Lord.”
  • “When God’s people cast aside all their idols, fully to turn to him, then it is that Assyria falls. Then it is that the wicked are removed from the midst of the people of God, the Assyrian yoke is broken, and the servants of God, evidently the first fruits, the 144,000, stand with the Lamb on Mt. Zion”. 1 TG#24, pp. 14, 17, 18
  • “Did you notice that after Assyria falls, then Ezekiel 9 – the purification – takes place? That means that Jacobs trouble comes before Eze. 9.”

Are we to understand that the Assyrian’s fall is also “time of Jacob’s trouble”? Are we also to understand that the above statements show the sequential order of Ezekiel 9 and Jacob’s trouble? I am not sure what the “Analysis” is trying to say or the logic of the sequential order being purported. Let me show another reference from the same study and see if we should use the above statements to show the sequential order of Ezekiel 9 and time of Jacob’s trouble in relation to the fall of Assyria.

1TG24: 15.4:  Obviously the prophet is looking down the stream of time, to a time of a thorough reformation, a time in which only those who forsake every sin and embody Truth and righteousness will be left in the church.  None others will be found in the congregation of the Lord.  Then Assyria shall fall and thus shall her yoke be removed from the neck of God’s people.

Here we see that on page 15 the purification is before the fall of Assyria.  Was this statement intentionally omitted to try and deceive the very elect? Thank God that is not possible.

The “Analysis” continues to spew on page 11:

  • “As we near the Kingdom, the battle for Jerusalem will be intensified and will lead into a world war. This will be referred to as the Assyrian War (12 SC #s 6, 7, p. 13). This is the conflict that the 144,000 is to face, not the Sunday Blue Law.”
  • Thus far the “Analysis” says that “Jacob’s time of trouble” is 1) the “solemn assembly”, 2) the “Assyrian’s fall”, and 3) the “Assyrian War”. Are these all one and the same or different phases of “Jacob’s trouble”?

The “Analysis” also says on page 9:

  • “CONCIDER THE FOLLOWING
  • “7. That subsequently, the time of Jacob’s trouble (Jer. 30: 7) for the 144,000, the sons of Jacob, logically develops on their way home (Gen. 32:1, 24) to the land of their fathers (Ezek. 36:28; 37:21, 25).
  • “8. That the foregoing epochal event shall cause the 144,000 to have their names changed as did their father, Jacob (Gen. 32:28), and as a body receive a new name which the mouth of the Lord shall name (Isa. 62:2)”. 2 TG#10 p. 30”

What are we to consider when the previous sentences which tell us subsequent to what, are not quoted? Again we see the partial quotation sophistry of the master deceiver at work through his agent, the “Analysis”. Let us add that which was intentionally omitted:

2TG10: 29-30:

  1. That the destruction of the tares from among the first fruits of the living (Matt. 13:30, 48, 49; Ezek. 9:6, 7) results in the purification of the church.
  2. That immediately thereafter, the angels let loose the four winds (Rev. 7:1-3), whereupon ensues the time of trouble and Michael’s standing up to deliver from it, all whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life (Dan. 12:1).
  3. That the angels’ letting loose the four winds to blow over the four corners of the earth (Rev. 7:1), does not anticipate a world war but rather a world-wide decree enforced throughout Babylon by the image-beast, and that then no one may buy or sell save he who worships “the image.” Rev. 13:15-17.
  4. That subsequently, the time of Jacob’s trouble (Jer. 30:7) for the 144,000, the sons of Jacob, logically develops on their way home (Gen. 32:1, 24) to the land of their fathers (Ezek. 36:28; 37:21, 25).
  5. That the foregoing epochal event shall cause the 144,000 to have their names changed as did their father, Jacob (Gen. 32:28), and as a body receive a new name which the mouth of the Lord shall name (Isa. 62:2).

We can now consider the matter intelligently after reading the omitted sentences and conclude that before “the time of Jacob’s trouble (Jer. 30:7) for the 144,000, the sons of Jacob” “the angels let loose the four winds” (Rev. 7:1-3) and before the four winds are let loose the church is purified. Thus, the purification takes place before the time of Jacob’s trouble. Since 1930 the Rod has always taught that the purification takes place before the time of Jacob’s trouble, this can be seen on the chart on page 133 of Shepherd’s Rod Volume One. Also we can read on page 163, paragraph 2, in Shepherd’s Rod Volume Two:

SR2: 163.2:  “We quote from the writings of the ‘Spirit of Prophecy’: ‘This was the time of Jacob’s trouble.  Then all the saints cried out with anguish of spirit, and were delivered by the voice of God.  The one hundred and forty-four thousand triumphed.  Their faces were lighted up with the glory of God.’ – ‘Life Sketches,’ page 117.  Note that the 144,000 in number, were present in “the time of Jacob’s trouble.”  According to the following quotation, that time of trouble commences immediately after the close of probation: ‘When Christ shall cease His work as mediator in man’s behalf, then this time of trouble will begin.’ – ‘Patriarchs and Prophets,’ page 201.  That time of trouble is before any of the sleeping saints are resurrected, therefore the 144,000 are not resurrected, but are living saints who have never tasted death and are to be translated at the second coming of Christ.”

The Rod teaches in Shepherd’s Rod Volumes One and Two that the time of Jacob’s trouble takes place after the purification. My question to the analyst is: In which publication does the teaching of the Time of Jacob’s trouble before the purification, first appear?

The “Analysis” continues to say on pages 13 and 14:

  • “In 2 Timely Greetings # 10, 2 troubles are mentioned: the first one is the letting loose of the four winds which it clearly states is not a world war, but the image of the Beast. This is the trouble for the great Multitude, not the 144,000.”
  • “Contrary to this L. Sam (LS) says that the “four winds” begin to blow and strike at the remnant of the flood for 7 long months….. The first fruits of the living, the wise virgins of the 11th hour church go through the “Time of Jacob’s Trouble” Timeline to the Kingdom chart”
  • “The Rod makes it abundantly clear that Jacob’s Trouble is brought upon the 144,000 by Assyria. Assyria does not represent the “Mark of the Beast” system.”

Here is the complete statement which the “Analysis” failed to quote on page 20:

TN15: 61.1:   “It being a foregone conclusion that Satan is against the saints, and that the Lord is against the truth-hating and evil-doing multitude, the subject becomes crystal clear: When let loose, the winds are to strike against the faithful “remnant,” against those who are left after the earth has opened her mouth and swallowed up “the flood,” the “tares” (Rev. 12:16, 17); but the angels who are stationed to hurt, are  to smite those who make war against the remnant.  Those whose names are found in the book, are “delivered.” Dan. 12:1.  Seeing that the 144,000, the servants of God, are not as yet sealed (not yet enclosed, protected, guarded, and ready to take their stand with the Lamb on Mt. Sion, but rather are still commingled with the tares) the angels are commanded to forestall the clash.”

Here we see that it is not L. Sam that said the winds first strikes the remnant of the flood first; it is the Rod.  The Rod also makes it crystal clear that there are two remnants:

TN15: 88.3:   “And notice that the dragon wars, not against a remnant of the “flood,” but against the remnant of her seed.  Christ being the woman’s only child, her seed are therefore the Christians, those who are born into the church through the Spirit of Christ.  Accordingly, the act of taking the first fruits to Mount Sion (Rev. 14:1) brings about a condition which makes a remnant of those who are still left among the Gentiles.  In this instance, therefore, they, the second fruits, are the remnant.

The Rod, the Spirit of Prophecy, and the Holy Bible, all speak of one trouble, that is the “Mark of the Beast” brought about by the two-horn beast. And the Rod says:

TN15: 61.2:  “Consequently, when this sealing work is completed, then the angels who hold the winds, will let the winds blow, and the angels who are to hurt the earth, sea, and trees, will then commence their given work.  Otherwise stated, to let the winds blow, is to permit the two-horn beast to decree “that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed” (Rev. 13:15); and to let the angels hurt, is to allow the Lord’s decree to take its course: “If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb.” Rev. 14:9, 10.  This warning is followed by the forecast:”

Is the two-horn beast the USA? Is the USA the capitol city on Modern Assyria? If the answer to these questions is yes, then the two-horn beast decree is the Assyrian decree.

The woman Babylon sits on the seven heads after the SDA Church is purified; then after the first fruits are taken to the Kingdom, she sits on the scarlet colored beast, the world, and thus the world becomes Babylon.  The New Codes have befuddled the minds of their adherents to such an extent, that they are in a state of total confusion and they don’t know it. This is easily seen in the “Analysis”.

The Rod says in:

1SC5: 6.5:  “Question #5. If the S.D.A. denomination is one of the seven heads of the beast, then how can the ‘woman’ of Revelation 17 sit on the seven heads (one of them being the S.D.A.), after the purification, at which time the church will be composed of pure members only?”

1SC5: 6.6:   “The questioner will note that there are two beasts with seven heads; one in Revelation 13 and the other in Revelation 17. The S.D.A. church is symbolized by one of the heads on the former beast. The ‘woman’ sits on the seven heads of the latter beast which has nothing to do with the S.D.A. denomination and which finds its fulfillment in the period after the purification of the church. Hence, the ‘woman’ is not sitting on the S.D.A. church, but rather on the Protestant churches who have become Babylon. See the SRod, Vol. 2, pp. 85-125.

The statement just quoted is torture to the New Coders because the New Codes teach that the woman sits on the heads before the purification.

The rhetoric of the “Analysis” continues on page 12:

  • Have you seen what is going on in the world today? Are the Davidians facing and addressing the relevant issues for this time? We are babbling over non-essentials. Are we dealing with the very present truth? The Mid East Crisis – The war about the Holy Land that is taking place? Davidians should be marshaling themselves to address the upcoming Assyrian War, and warning the church. Assyria, her allies and her enemies and preparing themselves for the final showdown in the Holy Land instead some Davidians are taking time out to facilitate and listen to the devil’s diversions, distractions, additions and subtractions from the work of Inspiration.

The pain of the two-edged sword of Truth, and the fear of the people hearing the Truth for themselves are heard in the above words of the “Analysis”.  Our instructions to the analyst and his followers are:

  1. Search the Rod to see how many studies were published on the Arab-Israeli war of 1948; the war over the very existence of Israel.
  2. The Middle East Crisis is not Present Truth, it was going on before the first publication of the Shepherd’s Rod and will continue until after Christ returns with His angels to execute judgment on the living; neither is it essential to your soul salvation.
  3. Your duty is to sanctify the Lord and get ready for the ox-plow stage of the sealing message. Do not be distracted by the crisis in the Middle East and the doctrines of the additions to the SRod Message added by the prophet’s widow.

The Rod says in:

TN3 (Third Edition): 3.1:   “’CONFUSSED BECAUSE ESSENTIAL’  ‘Though it is the crowning work of our salvation and of the setting up of the kingdom of Christ upon earth, yet the “investigative judgment’ is one of the least understood and most mystified and confused Bible subjects of the age. Were it not essential to our salvation, the enemy would not have expended every possible effort to envelop it in darkness. Imperative, then, is the unremitting need to search the Scriptures ‘as for hidden treasure,’ and to beseech God for the guidance of His Spirit in order rightly to understand this all-important subject. In vain though, any search for truth unless the motive be to learn and to do the will of God. Hence, ‘if any man,’ says Jesus, ‘will do His will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God.’ John 7:17.”

The Present Truth for today is the Judgment of the Living, the final purification of the church, which in its beginning is to be as the mustard seed.

The “Analysis” continues to say on page 12:

  • BE REMINDED OF OUR PRESENT COMMISSION; 4TR 57-8; 2TR 67; 1TG21 p3

The following were omitted from our commission:

9SC1-12:7.2.6:  “Let us all, as a Davidian band, remember that we are called to the high office of conservators of the gospel, restorers of the old paths, repairers of the breach.  We are called as the first of the “firstfruits” from Laodicea, and thus we are to serve as “saviours” to and of Laodicea (Obad. 17, 21).  Hence, obviously, before we can save our brethren from the fatally pernicious malady of Laodiceanism, we must first save ourselves from it.  And to do this, we must now and forever absolutely stop treating symptoms, and instead get at the cause; stop dosing ourselves first for this, then for that, but instead correctly apply the sovereign remedy, the message in the heart, until a complete cure is effected.”

3SC11-12: 3.2.8:  “Seven years’ experience has proved that there is virtually not one Present Truth believer able to teach the message, and that those who have attempted to do so, have accomplished either very little or nothing, and have met defeat.  Consequently, unless Mt. Carmel does something for all Present Truth believers, in the way of training, they will be of no use to the Lord in this most important work.  Neither would there be a place for the aged nor for the orphans.  The Lord foresaw this condition and therefore commanded by the pen of Ezekiel to ‘set the camp [Mt. Carmel] also stand against it, and set battering rams [leaders] against it round about.’  (Ezek. 4:2.)”

7SC1-6: 15.1.4:  “The Code does not intend to convey the idea that no one ever will be qualified to teach, for such a static condition, on the part of God’s people, would make them forever unfit to gather in the first and second fruits.  Clearly, therefore, what the Code did say, is merely that no one was at that time qualified.  Our unfitness, however, rather than disheartening and causing us to sit idle, should, as the Code intended, encourage us to prepare for service.  We should, therefore, diligently study the message and faithfully comply with all its requirements, and while we are thus making ourselves ready, we can be helping others to do likewise.”

The “Analysis” says on page 14:

  • “LENOX SAM said the 144,000 will receive the out pouring of Spirit 50 days after reaching the kingdom. 40 days being comforted by their deliverer and 10 day tarrying for the Holy Spirit. Can you reconcile that idea with the following statement;”
  • 32:15 — “Until the Spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.”
  • Here we are told that the people are to be among the Gentiles, and the land remain desolate until the Spirit be poured upon them from on high. Then will they return. We have now already seen the reason for the dispersion and that the pouring of the Spirit marks the people’s deliverance.  Yes, then no longer will their land be in captivity, no longer will their houses be desolate.  Even the wilderness shall become a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be counted for a forest — there shall be then an abundant harvest of souls. Timely Greetings, Vol. 1, No. 33 p 6
  • “Time Setting”

The outpouring of the Holy Spirit that the 144,000 will receive fifty days after reaching the Kingdom, is the Pentecostal outpouring, to enable them to gather the Great Multitude. The outpouring of the Spirit that is prophesied by Isaiah and interpreted in 1TG33 page 6, marks the people’s deliverance, which has nothing to do with the 144,000’s empowerment to gather the great multitude. The outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the vanguard, the Spirit-filled ministers, is to fulfill the reformation foretold in Testimonies to the Church Volume 9, page 126 and Revelation 8:5. This is not a reconciliation of ideas, but rather the harmonizing of Truth.

There is no time setting in the Timeline Chart or any of the Presentations; only time illustrations as pointed out in the Harvest Chart of Mathew 13. When the month, the day and the year are not given, it is not time setting. However, the Hunter’s Manual given to the hunters during the all-out effort to reclaim the church, which begun in 1953, clearly states that the Harvest Chart of Matthew 13 and The Harvest Period and the Close of Probation Chart should be used in giving the study of the Harvest and the point to stress is: show the time when the wheat and tares are to be separated. I will wait for the analyst’s study of the time of the separation using the Chart of Matthew 13 and the Close of Probation Chart.

The “Analysis” mentioned the all-out effort to reclaim the church. Nonetheless, the Association which supports the analyst is not conducting a hunting campaign as outlined in the Rod Message, but it is rather continuing the tormenting campaign implemented by Florence Houteff’s Executive Council after the prophet’s death. The “Analysis” also mentioned a united front; if the BRC members who decide what Truth is and what is error for its Association, are not united, pray tell me, how will Davidia, the preferred name of the various Associations that are not a church, present a united front to the Ninth-hour Church, mother?

In the reference quoted on page 17 of the “Analysis”, showing who Zerubbabel represents; it clearly states, that Zerubbabel represents “God’s servant at the time God overthrows the kingdoms”. Has God already overthrown the kingdoms? The answer to this question is very important in the understanding of the subject of Zerubbabel.  Here are some of the omitted references on the subject of Zerubbabel:

Zech. 4:10 — “For who hath despised the day of small things?  for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro through the whole earth.”

1TG14: 21.1:  “The day this scripture is fulfilled, is the day in which the Lord of hosts starts a reformatory work in an apparently very small and insignificant way, and those who despise small and insignificant beginnings will at last rejoice and shall see that antitypical Zerubbabel is the one to direct the work along with all (seven) his helpers.  They are the eyes of the Lord.  What a momentous day!  What a great people!  Evidently they constitute the “stone” of Zechariah Three which we studied several weeks ago, and learned that it has seven eyes, complete spiritual vision.  Obviously this is the stone that smites the great image of Dan. 2:45.

1TG14: 21.1:  “All these taking place at this particular time, and the prophecies now unfolded, prove that antitypical Zerubbabel must now be here, and that as he has started the work, he also must finish it.  The fact that Inspiration takes the pains to tell who is to finish the work in itself is proof that there must be active usurpers of his office as there were of Moses’ office.”

Here we see that Zerubbabel is the one who directs the work along with his helpers; and they are the stone of Zechariah Three, the stone of Daniel chapter 2, the 144,000.  Since the 144,000 consist only of those who will never taste of death, it disqualifies any resurrected person from the office of antitypical Zerubbabel, one of the 144,000.

The “Analysis” on page 18 says:

  • L.S. is displaying a document from the government office that says DSDA CHURCH but that is not from the pen of inspiration. BRO. HOUTEFF did write that document, the document is just saying that the government recognizes association as a church. That is not a doctrinal ROD DOCUMENT. He uses that document to support his 11th hour church theory yet he despise the codes which he knows we have the original manuscript for to prove the sermons are truly Bro. HOUTEFF’S. He despise them because they cut across the grains of his HEAD BOWL FANTACIES – so called new light.

I have no document from the government office, what I do have is a document executed by Brother Victor T. Houteff and recorded in the Public Records of McLennan County Texas, in which he stated that the General Association of Davidian Seventh-day Adventists is an association constituting a church. It has nothing to do with the government. Brother Houteff was under no obligation to the government to declare that the General Association of Davidian Seventh-day Adventists is an association constituting a church. Christ, not Brother V. T. Houteff, declared that the 11th hour movement is a church, He did so in the parable of Mathew Chapter Twenty. During the life of Brother V. T. Houteff there were several Davidian churches in the USA.  I have already dealt with the original manuscript illusion, so let us now hear the SRod on the matter of the church:

WHR: 33.2:  “…Unparalleled, therefore, is the urgency that every eleventh-hour church member now quickly and solidly brace himself against the Enemy’s effort to deliver a knockout blow.  We must be alert, too, to realize that the blow is to come from surprisingly unsuspected foes — from professed friends of the gospel, who are no less pious than were priests in Christ’s day….”

10SC2: 22.2:  The Davidian church at Meadows of Dan was crowded to more than capacity to accommodate the visitors who went from as far as new York and Pennsylvania. Others attended from South Carolina, Tennessee, and various parts of Virginia.

10SC2: 23.3:  Those attending were pleased to have Mt. Carmel represented at the meetings and the Mt. Carmel group stated that Virginia southern hospitality was very much in evidence.

The “Analysis” says on page 22:

  • ALL OF THE 144000 MUST BE SEALED AND BORN AT ONCE

I am not sure what the “Analysis” is saying with this statement; is it saying that the sealing of 144,000 and their being born at once are one and the same thing? The references that followed the above statement in the “Analysis” were all taken from 1TG49, pages 7 and 8, but we need to go back one page:

1TG49: 6.3:  “For Jesus to become one with us He had to be born again; He had to become an earthly man.  And for us to be one with Him, we have to be born again, born of the Spirit.  The difference is that Jesus was first born a spiritual, a Divine being, and second a human being; whereas we are first born human beings, and second spiritual beings.  Prophetically speaking of Jesus’ birth, the prophet Isaiah wrote:”

Isa. 66:7 — “Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.”

1TG49: 7.1: “The Jewish church, the church into which and by which Jesus was born, Inspiration declares, neither travailed nor had pain; that is, she felt neither need of nor burden for a Saviour, and yet in spite of it, He was born.”

1TG49: 7.2:  “But speaking of the children that are to make up the Kingdom, we read:”

Isa. 66:8 — “Who hath heard such a thing?  who hath seen such things?  Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day?  or shall a nation be born at once?  for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.”

With the references just quoted together with those quoted in the “Analysis” we can clearly see that the children of the Kingdom must be born a second time, born again, born of the Spirit of God and become a nation all at once. There are several outstanding facts here namely:

But when Zion travaileth she brings forth all her children at once, a whole nation!  A miracle in each instance.”  {1TG49: 7.3}  This will take place when God miraculously takes His children to their own land, and they become a theocratic nation in one day, all at once.

“When she is thus carrying her children, then they shall all be born at once, — they shall all at once receive their second birth, the birth here mentioned.”  {1TG49: 7.4}  This is the outpouring of the Spirit of God upon the vanguard all at once as see by John in Rev. 8:5 and by Sister White in Testimonies for the Church, Volume Nine, page 126. How do we know this? “Plainly, then, our efforts to reach the people with the message of a “second birth” shall not be in vain: Zion shall bring forth all her children, as it were, in one day.  And that is why we cannot be driven to despair or to discouragement.  We are assured that ‘revival and reformation’ will take place among all God’s people, that His word will not return unto Him void.”  {1TG49: 8.1} Couple these statements with that of Answer Book No. Two, page 15, paragraph two: “In the light of this symbolical representation, the woman, herself, is seen to symbolize the mother part of the church–God’s appointed and Spirit-filled ministers who bring in the born-again (John 3:3) converts.” Note carefully that those who the Spirit-filled ministers bring in are born-again, which means, born of the Spirit.

The purification of the Eleventh-hour Church takes place in one day, the purified church is the Kingdom, and thus the Kingdom comes into existence in one day. When the first fruits are taken to the Kingdom a whole nation will be brought forth in one day.

Since 2003, I have been asking you, my dear brother Archer, to sit down with me and show me in the ROD where I am wrong; your last reply was that it would be a waste of time for there is no hope for me.  Is this to say that I am worse than Judas and you are better than Christ? Again I ask you my dear brother, let us sit down with the ROD in front of a video camera and discuss these controversial doctrinal issues, rather than you hiding behind the printed pages of the “Analysis” and appealing to the students of “Lenox Sam”. We can do this over a period of time, discussing a different subject for each recorded session, in an effort to see eye to eye and present a united front to the mother church.  I am positive that we can both learn from these sessions and who knows! The Holy Spirit might teach us something that we do not understand at this time or incorrectly understand at this time. These recordings would be made available online to all Davidians.  This is my last request for us to reason together.

Please remember that I am not asking you to meet and listen to my teachings, but rather for us to meet and reason together or for you to show me in the Rod where I am wrong in my understanding of any of the subjects in which we do not see eye to eye, as well as for me to question you concerning your understanding on the same. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon. I will personally hand deliver this Letter to the analyst as an object lesson for his reply or any future analysis; and I will make it available for the recipients of the “Analysis” online or upon request, since I do not know all of you.

I am still also waiting for the reply to the request I sent to the Executive Council at 2500 Mt. Carmel Drive, Waco, Texas, to meet individually with your fellow ministers for a recorded discussion on the same.
